Graphic Designer & Mixed Media Artist

Rebecca Brown

A designer/artist based in Hampton, Virginia, with a passion for creating work that blends function, beauty, and intention. At 25, and on the verge of earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts, my creative journey has been shaped by both formal training and hands-on exploration across multiple mediums. I’m drawn to combining digital design with tactile elements, allowing each piece to carry depth, texture, and a sense of story.

About My Work

In addition to design, I handcraft jewelry including rings, bracelets, and necklaces, with plans to expand into new forms. Each piece is made with care and intention, often incorporating unique or repurposed materials. My goal is to create wearable art that feels personal something that carries both beauty and meaning for the person who wears it.

My Creative Journey

Art Bloom Studios really comes from a mix of my education and everything I discovered along the way. I went to school for graphic design, but while I was there, I ended up taking a lot of hands-on classes like wire wrapping, sculpting, woodworking, and ceramics. Those classes pushed me creatively in ways I didn’t expect and helped me realize I love working with physical materials just as much as designing.

I had already been painting on and off for years before going back to school, but I never thought I’d get so into creating things like jewelry. Once I started, it kind of clicked—I loved being able to make exactly what I imagined and actually bring it to life.

That mix of design and hands-on work is what shapes Art Bloom Studios. Everything I make is personal, intentional, and built from the ground up, combining what I’ve learned with what I genuinely enjoy creating.
